Duties include: Inspecting exposed piping which includes riser, regulator, meter, meter connections, and residential farm taps for damage, corrosion and defects. Provide general maintenance to the system. Painting as required. Taking comparison readings for billing purposes.
Line Locator
Duties include: Accurately locate and mark underground natural gas lines with paint and/or flags using locating devices. Efficiently use computerized maps, service cards, plats, and other records to assist in locating. Work directly with third party contractors to coordinate timely completion of tickets. Be able to remain professional in high stress environment. Be a motivated self-starter and able to prioritize time sensitive tasks. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills, proficient computer skills, be detail oriented and willing to work in a team environment. This job is primarily performed outdoors under all weather conditions.
